Vanderbilt women’s basketball released its 2022-23 SEC schedule Wednesday. In addition to permanent rival Tennessee, the Commodores will play a home-and-home series with Arkansas and LSU.

The SEC slate opens with a home game against Mississippi State on Dec. 27 and a trip to LSU on New Year’s Day. It concludes with a home game against Auburn on Feb. 23.

The home game against Tennessee will be Jan. 8 and the road game Feb. 12.

Vanderbilt finished 13th in the SEC last season with a 4-12 record, won its first SEC Tournament game in six years and qualified for the WNIT in the first year under coach Shea Ralph. Four of five primary starters return from 2021-22, with wing Brinae Alexander transferring to Maryland.

The non-conference schedule is highlighted by a trip to the Women’s Cancun Challenge, where the Commodores will face NC State and Northern Iowa.

Game times and TV information will be announced at a later date.
